Additionally, if the exemption is approved, it will be reflected on your Notice of Proposed Property Taxes , which is mailed by August 24th. If we were unable to process your exemption and you filed a timely application (on or before March 1st), you will receive a “Notice of Disapproval of Application for Property Tax Exemption” in the mail no later than July 1st, detailing the reasons for denial.
