As Assistant County Attorney, Andrea Gonzalez Mateo provides legal counsel and representation on eminent domain and real estate matters.

Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Andrea served as Assistant General Counsel at the Florida Department of Transportation, where she worked on eminent domain litigation and a wide range of transactional matters relating to design, planning, construction, right of way, intergovernmental agreements, and procurement.

Andrea also has extensive experience as a commercial litigator in private practice where she worked as trial and litigation counsel on matters involving intellectual property, business disputes, banking, insurance, construction and finance.
