Daron S. Fitch joined the County Attorney's Office in December 1999. Since joining the County Attorney's Office, Daron has served as a trial attorney and litigator in the workers' compensation section, serving the interests of both Miami-Dade County and the Public Health Trust. In addition to litigating workers' compensation cases, Daron represented the Public Safety and Community Outreach, Safety & Healthcare Administration Committees from 2003 until 2005 for the Board of County Commissioners. Daron also represents various county departments in employee disciplinary personnel appeals and arbitration hearings, and serves as counsel to various Community Zoning Appeals Boards in Miami-Dade County.

Daron is active in his community, serving as vice-president of the Silver Lakes Community Association as well as a member of the 100 Black Men of South Florida, Inc.
