May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Support is available for you if you struggle with emotional wellness. Close to one in four adults of every age, race and gender suffer with a mental health disorder each year in the US. According to the CDC, that’s 58.7 million working Americans.

The Employee Support Services section of the Human Resources Department’s Benefits Division is hosting Build Emotional Wellness and Thrive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m on Tuesday, May 14 at the Stephen P. Clark Center.

Visit the EAP’s Well Mind table for emotional wellness tips and more. Participate in one of our 45 minute yoga sessions in 18A at 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.

If you are unable to attend, you can still participate in the monthly events. The EAP will be providing Mental Health Virtual Panels focused on mental health and emotional wellness weekly from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., we invite you to join us to learn more about navigating and supporting family mental health needs, managing trauma and stress, building compassion and finding support.
