The Miami International Agriculture, Horse & Cattle Show returns to Tropical Park April 12-14. There'll be fun for the entire family at the show's Farmville, kids zone, car show and more. Cattle judging starts at 9 a.m., Friday; Doors open at 9 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday. Admission is $3 and kids under 12 enter for free.
Security cameras are being installed at Tropical Park, Kendall Soccer Park, Kendall Indian Hammocks Park, Ruben Dario Park, Francisco Human Rights Park, Concord Park, and Women’s Park. Funding for the cameras is coming from Commissioner Souto’s district budget. The rest of the parks in Commissioner Souto’s district will be added as more money is available.
The Miami-Dade County Commission on Feb. 5 approved a resolution sponsored by Commissioner Javier D. Souto directing the Mayor's administration to recommend policies to control aggressive campaign tacts at voting locations.
