Commissioner Jose "Pepe" Diaz
District 12 encompasses an area of Western Miami-Dade and includes the City of Doral, a portion of Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Medley, Sweetwater and Virginia Gardens and a large portion of unincorporated Miami-Dade County.
Voters in District 12 first elected José "Pepe" Diaz to the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners in September 2002. Commissioner Diaz was reelected in August 2018.

The Mom and Pop Small Business Grant Program provides financial and technical assistance to qualified small businesses. Applications are available now through Feb. 22.
