Young girl carrying a tree

The next Adopt-a-Tree event will take place Saturday, September 29.

Amelia Earhart Park
401 E. 65th Street, Hialeah
From 9 a.m. to noon.

Remember to get there early as tree quantities are limited and will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.

Since the Adopt-a-Tree Program started in 2001, more than 200,000 trees have been adopted.

Trees available at this event include:

  • Dahoon Holly
  • Grafted Mango
  • Locust Berry
  • Satinleaf
  • Sugar Apple

Bring your current showerheads and three heavily used regular light bulbs to the event. By doing so, you can get up to two high-efficiency showerheads and up to three energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs for free while supplies last.
