Happy Halloween

From trick-or-treating to spooky ghost tours, there are plenty of activities for you and your family to enjoy this year. Before you get decked out in your scary costume, take some time to read about the following activities and resources sure to make your Halloween the spookiest ever.

Activities

Free Trick or Treat Pop-Up at South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center on Oct. 27
There's a kids costume parade, haunted house, candy giveaway, scary movies and food trucks from 6 to 10 p.m.

HistoryMiami City Cemetery Tour on Oct. 27
Join historian Dr. Paul George on a tour around Miami's oldest cemetery. Visit the final resting places of Miami's notables, famous and infamous.

Vizcaya Halloween Sundowner on Oct. 28
Enjoy an unforgettable evening of food, drinks, music, outrageous costumes and a spectacular view of Biscayne Bay, while supporting the preservation and protection of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.

Zoo Boo on Oct. 28-29
Zoo Boo is a spooktacular way to celebrate Halloween. Families and kids ages 12 and under are invited to trick-or-treat in costumes, participate in costume contests, make Halloween crafts and more. Save money and time by purchasing your tickets online.

Teal Pumpkin Party all month long
Create and paint your own teal pumpkin, learn about food allergies and find out about fun non‑food treats that you can give out on Halloween. Visit Miami-Dade Public Library's special events calendar for more information.
