The Miami-Dade Public Library System's Homework Help & Tutoring Program is now offering additional hours of tutoring on Saturdays at 17 library locations, thanks to a grant from The Children's Trust. One-hour sessions are now available at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m., in addition to 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and noon. The Model City Branch Library is now also offering sessions on Wednesdays at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Certified teachers will provide students in grades K-12 with free homework help and tutoring in reading, math and science throughout the County through June 9.

The program takes place on a weekly basis with the exception of some holidays and school breaks.
