County vehicles wrapped pink for breast cancer awareness
September 25, 2018 — Communications Department

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Miami-Dade County continues to support breast cancer awareness. County departments are showing their commitment by wrapping their vehicles pink. Whether it’s a police car, bus or garbage truck, our streets will have a year-round reminder of our dedication to fighting breast cancer.

In partnership with Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, the County has been involved in cancer research programs since 2007 and raised over $7 million for breast cancer research.
