Visit the farmers market at the Stephen P. Clark Center on Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and get a taste for the connection between farm families and urban residents.
Local growers will have fruits, vegetables, plants, honey and more for sale. Along with the locally grown products, there will also be a number of educational displays courtesy of the Dade County Farm Bureau and the University of Florida/IFAS Miami-Dade County Cooperative Extension.
The market takes place during Farm-City Week and emphasizes the importance of domestic agricultural production for our quality of life as well as the availability of a safe, abundant domestic food supply.
