Search for Microfilm & Plans

To view or obtain copies of the original building plans of your residential or commercial property, you must schedule an appointment.

All records in the Microfilm Unit are filed by the Permit Number. In most cases, the permit number can be located by the address or the folio number of the property. If we are unable to locate a permit number for your property, we cannot complete the research.

The Microfilm Unit will perform an initial search over the phone to determine if your property is located in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, and to verify the year of the property was built in order to determine if we may have records to research on file.
