The Miami-Dade County Primary Election took place on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Check out the results or review your customized sample ballot for the election.

Your ballot may have included contests for:


  • U.S. Senator and U.S. Representative


  • Governor, State Senators, State Representatives and other contests


  • County Commissioners, School Board Members and Judges
  • Community Councils

Find out if you were affected by the temporary and permanent polling place changes.

The deadline to be registered to vote, or to change political parties, was Monday, July 30.

The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot was Wednesday, August 22.

Early voting was open from August 13-26.
