Miami Connected is an initiative working to make Miami-Dade County the most technologically inclusive community by bringing free broadband connectivity and digital literacy to over 100,000 students. Currently, more than one in five Miami-Dade County residents are disconnected from the internet.

Starting in March, approximately 22,000 eligible students from Miami-Dade County Public Schools will receive two years of free broadband internet service. In addition to providing internet service, Miami Connected will teach students and their families the skills necessary to use their devices and become digitally literate.
