Low-cost spay or neuter services are offered to Miami-Dade County residents for cats and dogs.
- Spay or neutering your dog or cat will help reduce the number of homeless and unwanted pets. It will also help reduce the chances of your pet becoming sick later in life.

You may qualify for free spay or neuter services
Thanks to a grant from Florida Animal Friend, for a limited time, Miami-Dade Animal Services will offer low-income qualified residents free spay or neuter services for cats and dogs at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center, located at 3599 NW 79 Avenue in Doral and at the Homestead Community Spay/Neuter Clinic, located at 1034 NE 8 ST in Homestead. If you do not qualify for the low-income qualified resident free spay or neuter services, other low-cost services are available through our partnerships with various organizations listed below.
Our partnership with the Humane Society of Greater Miami provides low-cost pet sterilization surgery.
Spay or neuter surgery for cats and dogs owned by Miami-Dade County residents is available in Homestead.
Pet owners can schedule an appointment online up to 30 days in advance. The cost is $40 per dog.
Spay or neuter surgery for cats and dogs with low income owners.
You can get your cat spayed or neutered for $20 at our Pet Adoption and Protection Center. Appointments can be scheduled online or by calling 311.
