Schedule Spay or Neuter Surgery
Low-cost spay or neuter services are offered to Miami-Dade County residents in our Doral or Homestead locations for cats and dogs.
- Spay or neutering your dog or cat will help reduce the number of homeless and unwanted pets. It will also help reduce the chances of your pet becoming sick later in life.
- You can schedule your appointment up to 30 days in advance online or by calling 311.
Limited time, free spay or neuter services at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center in Doral or the Homestead Community Spay/Neuter Clinic: Thanks to a grant from Florida Animal Friend, for a limited time, Miami-Dade Animal Services will offer low-income qualified residents free spay or neuter services for cats and dogs at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center, located at 3599 NW 79 Ave. in Doral and at the Homestead Community Spay/Neuter Clinic, located at 1034 NE 8 St. in Homestead. The free surgeries will be available until the funds are exhausted. Call 311 for more information.

Walk-in surgery for dogs on certain Sundays: A limited number of dogs is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Services are only available at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center in Doral. Walk-ins not accepted at the Homestead clinic. Walk-ins are offered on Sundays with the exception of the third Sunday of each month, when walk-ins are not accepted. As a special circumstance, we will not be accepting walk-ins on Sunday, Jan. 27.
Schedule an appointment at one of Miami-Dade County Animal Services locations online or by calling 311. The cost is $40 per dog and $20 per cat.
Low-income residents can spay or neuter their dogs and cats for free or at a discount.
