The Miami-Dade Police Department will be hosting their 2017 Promotional Ceremony at Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Department Training Facility.  Director Juan Perez is proud to announce the promotion of 38 officers of all ranks as they begin a new journey in their law enforcement career.  Twenty-six (26) officers will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant, six (6) Sergeants will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, three (3) Lieutenants will be promoted to the rank of Captain and three (3) Lieutenants and Captain will be promoted to the rank of Major.
