National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

 

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) and the Drug Enforcement Administration will host “National Prescription Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The goal of the initiative is to help the community do their part in the prevention of pill abuse and accidental poisoning, by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. The community is encouraged to bring pills for disposal to any MDPD district station. The service is free and anonymous. Liquids, needles or syringes will not be accepted, only pills or patches.

When: October 26, 2019, 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

Where:Collection locations will be at all Miami-Dade Police Department, District Stations.
