National Prescription Drug

Take Back Day

 

On Saturday, April 29th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Miami –Dade Police Department (MDPD) and the Drug Enforcement Administration will host “Take Back Day.  This is the 13th opportunity in 7 years for the community to prevent pill abuse and accidental poisoning, by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous, expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs. Bring your pills for disposal to any MDPD district station. The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. Liquids, needles or syringes will not be accepted only pills or patches.
