The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) in collaboration with 7-Eleven, will be conducting "Operation Chill." This summer, MDPD officers will be issuing "tickets" to youngsters rewarding them for doing good deeds, or exhibiting positive behavior.  The ticket is actually a coupon for a free Slurpee.  Operation Chill creates positive interactions and establishes rapport between officers and children in our County.  The MDPD remains committed to building strong relationships with our community and our youth.
