Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Campaign |

The Miami-Dade Police Department has been awarded a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation, through the University of North Florida to enforce and educate on the topics of pedestrian and bicyclist safety, and driver behavior. During the safety campaign, officers will conduct on-street education, as well as enforcement operations, distributing educational material to the public. The main objective of this effort is to reduce traffic crashes resulting in serious and fatal injuries to pedestrians and bicyclists through the use of selected traffic education and enforcement operations.
