Armed Robbery

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an armed robbery that was caught on camera in Northwest Miami-Dade.

According to investigators, the victim, Ms. Jean-Mary, was working at the Family Dollar, located at 9390 NW 27th Avenue. Three males entered the store, and one approached Miss Jean-Mary and snatched her iPhone from her pocket. The three subjects fled the store and were pursued by Mr. Agustine and Mr. McDougald, who are also Family Dollar employees. During the pursuit one of the subjects brandished a firearm and shot at the two employees. A Miami-Dade Police Department Officer was able to detain one of the subjects, who has been identified as Devonte Gibbs. Two subjects still remain at large.

The victims did not sustain any injuries.

Surveillance video captured the image of the subjects and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals.
