Death Investigation


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident that resulted in the death of a male.

According to investigators, a black Kia Forte and a white Ford pickup truck were traveling eastbound on NW 135 Street. The vehicles came to a stop at the 4200 Block, and both drivers exited their vehicles. The driver of the black Kia Forte produced a firearm and shot the driver of the white pickup truck. The shooter called 911 and remained on scene. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and airlifted the victim to JMH Ryder Trauma Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The shooter and witnesses are being interviewed by Homicide investigators.

Charges, if any, are pending. The investigation continues.
