Officers from the Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD) and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) responded to a report of a person on fire in the intersection of N.W. 12 Avenue and N.W. 142 Street. Upon units arrival, MDFR personnel extinguished a person who was on fire roadside along N.W. 12 Avenue. Subsequently, MDFR declared the victim deceased on the scene. The MDPD, Homicide Bureau is conducting a death investigation which will include identifying the victim. The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner will determine the victim's sex, race, and cause of death. The investigation continues.
