The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a hit and run crash that left one pedestrian seriously injured.
According to investigators, a 60-year old female was attempting to cross NW 27 Avenue at NW 24 Street, when she was struck by a black Nissan Titan. The vehicle did not stop, and fled north on NW 27 Avenue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Investigators are seeking the assistance from the community in identifying the hit and run driver and/or vehicle.
The investigation continues.
