Juvenile Arrested On Murder Charges

Investigators are seeking assistance in identifying a second person.


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that resulted in the murder of a woman.

According to investigators, the victim was sitting outside her apartment with several people, when shots were fired and she was struck.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to JMH Ryder Trauma Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries.  As investigators continued to follow all leads, they obtained surveillance footage of the incident and subjects.  The surveillance video shows three males exiting a vehicle, two of which opened fire on the victim.  Through investigative means, detectives were able identify and locate one of the subjects.  He was placed under arrest and charged accordingly. Investigators continue to seek the assistance of the community in identifying the second shooter who is seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.  Anyone with information of his identity and/or whereabouts is urged to contact Crimestoppers as he is considered armed and dangerous.
