According to investigators, officers responded to reports of shots fired at a residence.  Once the officers arrived, they discovered a female lying in the driveway suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.  Moments later, investigators received further information that led them to an individual that may be involved or have information regarding the shooting and a firearm was also recovered.  Investigators transported the individual to the Homicide Bureau to be questioned as to his involvement, if any.
