Public Assistance Fraud Arrests


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department Professional Compliance Bureau, Public Corruption Section, arrested  Ms. Latravia Ferguson, a teacher with Miami-Dade County Public Schools.  Ms. Ferguson and her grandmother, Ms. Ruby Collier fraudulently received Section 8 housing and financial subsidies from the Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development.  Ms. Ferguson and Ms. Collier were charged accordingly.
