Grocery Store Armed Robbery

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a grocery store.

According to investigators, the subject entered the grocery store and demanded money from the register. The subject, who attempted to conceal his face with a shirt, pulled a firearm from inside his umbrella and again demanded money.  The victim opened the register and handed the subject approximately $800. The subject fled the scene in a grey, two door Honda.  There were no injuries reported.

Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and his vehicle.  Investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual.
