Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, are investigating an armed robbery at a local video game shop.

According to investigators, the subject asked a store employee for two game consoles and attempted to make the purchase with a credit card.  The transaction was not approved, and the subject confronted the employee behind the counter, while yelling profanities.  The subject placed his hand inside his pocket and ordered the victim into the stockroom.  Fearing the subject was armed, the victim complied with the subject’s request for an additional game console.  The subject and the victim exited the stockroom and a physical struggle, over video games, ensued behind the counter.  The subject fled with three game consoles, various video games and other miscellaneous items, totaling approximately $800. The victim was not injured during the incident.

Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
