The Miami-Dade Police Department Homicide Bureau, is conducting an investigation into the murder of a missing man discovered inside the trunk of a car.

According to investigators, the reporter located his missing brother’s vehicle and called police.  The reporter followed the vehicle to a parking lot, where police detained the three occupants.  The officers on the scene searched the vehicle and discovered a deceased body inside the trunk.  The three occupants of the vehicle were transported to the Homicide Bureau for questioning.  One of the three individuals detained, confessed to the murder, which occurred in Miami-Dade County.  The other two persons detained were released.  The deceased has been identified as the person reported missing in Monroe County, on December 12, 2018.
