According to investigators, one of the subjects entered the store, grabbed three cases of beer, and placed them on the checkout counter.  He then approached the store manager, who was standing by the exit door, and stated that he was going to shoot him, while simulating a gun with his hand.  He reached into his front pocket, verbalizing he had a firearm and left without the merchandise.  He then re-entered the store, punched the store manager, and ultimately fled in an awaiting vehicle.  Through investigative means, detectives were able to identify and locate Gary Gause, the driver of the vehicle, and place him under arrest.  However, the other subject remains at large.  The store manager was not injured. 

The subject's images were captured on video surveillance and are available on the Media Relations Section FTP Site under 2019/February/Video/PD190203042204_Attempted_Armed_Robbery.  Investigators are requesting the community's assistance in identifying and/or locating the subject.
