(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

Detectives from Miami-Dade Police Department's (MDPD), Kendall District, are investigating a residential burglary involving a pair of burglars who stole thousands of dollars' worth of jewelry from a couple's home.

According to investigators, two burglars posed as landscapers to gain access to the elderly couples' house. The female subject distracted the husband and wife by luring them outside, while the male subject went inside the home and stole approximately $30,000 worth of jewelry. Once the subjects left the residence, the victims noticed their jewelry was taken and called the police.

Forensic sketches of the subjects are attached.
