On Thursday, March 26, 2018, detectives from Miami-Dade Police Department Special Victims Bureau, arrested 57 year old Joseph Aechange Michel, for sexual battery on a minor. According to investigators, on Monday, February 26, 2018, Michel, who is a private music instructor, sexually assaulted a juvenile victim during a music lesson at Michel's residence. The victim immediately disclosed the incident to her parent. Detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward.
