Vehicle Burglary & Credit Card Fraud


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Economic Crimes Bureau, is investigating a vehicle burglary that occurred at a cemetery.

According to investigators, the victim was visiting a loved one at the cemetery, when the subject(s) gained entry into her unlocked vehicle and stole her purse. Within the hour, the subject(s) fraudulently used the victims credit card at a liquor store in the area of 184 and South Dixie Highway, then made purchases at a shoe store located blocks away. The fraudulent charges totaled over $900 dollars.

Surveillance equipment captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual.
