Q. How wide of a radius does the “Nearby” feature cover?
Answer:
- “Nearby” covers about ⅓ of a mile.
Q. In bus tracker, why is my bus number not showing or showing as TBD?
Answer:
- Bus GPS equipment is temporarily not reporting the bus’s location.
OR
- The bus is not in proximity of its first stop of its first trip.
OR
- This trip starts later on in the day and has not had a bus number assigned to it yet.
Q. Why do bus tracker estimates sometimes not update or increase in time?
Answer:
- Bus tracker is a real-time system and this occurs when buses are delayed from beginning their trip or are running behind schedule from the previous trip.
Q. Why does my bus number change?
Answer:
- Bus tracker estimates for trips that haven’t started yet are based off of the assigned bus that is scheduled for that trip. Due to traffic, detours, accidents etc. another bus may be dispatched instead.
Q. When tracking a real-time bus location why does it not display the direction of service?
Answer:
- This bus is scheduled to start the next trip but is not currently actively running a route.
