Sophia Guzzo joined the Miami-Dade County Attorney's Office in 2022, and works in the Commercial & Construction Litigation, Real Estate, and Governmental Operations sections. Additionally, she serves as counsel for the Miami-Dade Elections Department and Canvassing Board

During her time at the County Attorney's Office, Sophia has represented Miami-Dade County in a variety of litigation matters in both state and federal court, including contract and lease disputes and elections law matters. She has also worked with the Board of County Commissioners and various County departments to provide legal advice and to prepare and review ordinances and resolutions.

Sophia also serves as counsel for the Miami-Dade County Office of Film and Entertainment and the Film and Entertainment Advisory Board.
