Prior to joining the County Attorney's Office, Chris served as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office for nearly twelve years, where he received extensive litigation experience as a specially designated homicide prosecutor for the Multi-Agency Gang Strike Force. During that time, he tried numerous murder cases to jury verdict, including capital cases that involved the death penalty. Further, he frequently served as lead trial counsel on a variety of high-profile jury trials reported in the media.
