Metrorail Schedules

Metrorail's regular schedule may vary up to 12 minutes during “single tracking,” when southbound and northbound trains alternate trips on the same track while maintenance is being conducted on the opposite track. To ensure you reach your destination on time, view Today's Schedule below.

Metrorail Service Update:

  • new Traffic Detoured at Coconut Grove Station:

    Effective Monday, July 22, 2019, duration unknown:
    • Construction work is being done adjacent to the Coconut Grove Metrorail station parking lot along SW 29 Ave & 27 Terr.
    • All vehicular traffic is being rerouted to enter the parking lot via the entrance on SW 29 Ave & 27 Lane.
    • Patrons will have to exit the station via SW 27th Ave and 27th Terr.
    • The duration of this project is unknown. 
  • Single-Tracking Schedule: July 18 - 25: Track preventive maintenance and repair work is performed after 9:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. In the areas where work is being done, northbound and southbound trains will alternate (single-track) service on the same track while maintenance is being performed on the opposite track.

    Thursday, July 18: Single-tracking after 9:00 p.m.
    • Green Line: 30-minute frequency between Palmetto & Dadeland South stations.
    • Orange Line: 30-minute frequency between MIA & Earlington Heights stations only.
    • Passengers going to MIA Station must transfer at the Earlington Heights station to an Orange Line train.
    Friday, July 19: Single-tracking after 9:00 p.m.
    • Service frequencies will not be affected.
    Saturday, July 20 - Sunday, July 21: Single-tracking all day.
    • Green Line: 30-minute frequency between Palmetto & Dadeland South stations.
    • Orange Line: 30-minute frequency between MIA & Earlington Heights stations only.
    • Passengers going to MIA Station must transfer at the Earlington Heights station to an Orange Line train.
    Monday, July 22 - Tuesday, July 23: No single-tracking scheduled.

    Wednesday, July 24 - Thursday, July 25: Single-tracking after 9:00 p.m.
    • Green Line: 30-minute frequency between Palmetto & Dadeland South stations.
    • Orange Line: 30-minute frequency between MIA & Earlington Heights stations only.
    • Passengers going to MIA Station must transfer at the Earlington Heights station to an Orange Line train.
    NOTE: To ensure you get to your destination on time during single tracking, arrive at your train station a few minutes earlier, or track your train arrival with the MDT Tracker App. You can also call Customer Services at 305-891-3131 to obtain more details on the single tracking schedule.
  • Douglas Road station Metrobus and Trolley stops relocated: Due to construction next to the Douglas Road Metrorail station, the Metrobus and city trolley pick-up and drop-off areas have been moved to the south side of the station. Entrance to the station may be impacted. See directional signage at the station for more information.
  • Douglas Road station pedestrian bridge closed:

    Effective Friday, April 12, 2019, the pedestrian bridge located at Douglas Road station is closed.
    • Pedestrians may cross US-1 at SW 37 Avenue.
    • Metrorail and Metrobus service to the station will be not be affected.
    • Bridge will be closed for several months.
