  • Tips for using Contactless Payment

First, have your mobile phone or wearable ready and charged for fast entry. When using a digital wallet, you may need to open your phone's digital wallet app or authenticate on your mobile phone and tap again, if prompted.

Many mobile phones have shortcuts to make them ready to pay before you tap the reader.

Here are some tips for common mobile phones and wearables.

    • If you're using Apple Pay, you can ready your iPhone or Apple Watch with Apple Pay for a contactless payment using tips from Apple.
    • If you're using Google Pay, you can ready many Android phones or wearable to make a contactless payment by simply unlocking them as you walk up. For more, check out tips from Google.
    • If you're using Samsung Pay, you can ready your device from its locked state by swiping up from the bottom edge of the phone to open Samsung Pay. You'll need to use the fingerprint reader or enter your unlock code to pay.
    • If you're using Fitbit Pay, you'll need to pull up your card on the device's screen.
