Get free tax help with Miami Tax Pros, a professional, IRS-certified tax preparer through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), with services also available at Miami-Dade County facilities.

Miami Tax Pros offers expert tax preparation services free of charge for households that qualify. They help you keep more of your money. There are over 40 sites in Miami-Dade County. VITA can help you in the following ways:

  • In-person and online tax preparation.
  • Assistance with current year and prior year tax returns.
  • Year-round support with other tax-related matters.
  • Access to a wide range of community resources, including free financial coaching.

The IRS estimates that 80 percent of Miami-Dade tax filers qualify for expert tax preparation that is free. You may be eligible.

Other Locations Offering Free Tax Help

Community Action and Human Resources Department
Free tax preparation services for qualifying residents are available at the following Miami-Dade County Community Resource Centers: Acción, Coconut Grove, Culmer, Hialeah, Miami Gardens, Naranja, Perrine and South Dade Skills Center.

All locations are open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on observed holidays.

Libraries
Get free federal income tax preparation help from IRS-certified tax assistance volunteers. Bring Social Security cards or ITIN, government-issued photo ID and Identity Protection PIN (if applicable) for all individuals included on tax returns, W-2 and 1099 forms and other income documents. Space is limited. Please contact the branch for more information.
