Fill out the Fire Inspection Request and Inquiry Form and select "Pay my Inspection Fees."

How do I schedule my fire inspections? 
Fill out the Fire Inspection Request and Inquiry Form, input your permit number and select "Fire Inspection Request" for a next-day inspection. The "SRI" option is a Special Request Inspection that can be scheduled up to 72 hours in advance for an additional fee.

How do I check to see what time my fire inspection is? 
Fill out the Routes & Results Form, input your permit number and select "search." 

How can I contact my assigned fire inspector? 
Fill out the Routes & Results Form, input your permit number and select "search." Your assigned fire inspector's office number can be located on the right of the page.

How do I schedule a Special Request for Inspection/ Overtime Inspection? 
Fill out the Fire Inspection Request and Inquiry Form, enter your permit number and select "SRI Request." Please read all the instructions prior to submitting to ensure accuracy. 

What are the Fire Inspection Fees? 
Inspection fees can be found on the Miami-Dade County Fire Prevention Fee schedule in Implementing Order IO-4-123.

How Do I cancel a Fire Inspection? 
Fill out the Fire Inspection Request and Inquiry Form. Same-day cancellations cannot be done online. Call 786-315-2770 to cancel. A fee will apply. 

How do I find my comments on my fire inspection? 
Fill out the Fire Inspection Request and Inquiry Form select "Inspection History" and then "Select" for the specified date.

How do I request expedited service for my plans (Special Request Plans Review)? 
Fill out the Special Request Plans Review (SRI) form and email it to [email protected]. 

How do I submit or check the progress of my plans? 
Visit the Miami-Dade Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources Plan Status and Application Submittal Portal. Enter the process number associated with your plans under "Search Status of Applications and Plans" or call 786-315-2100.

I lost my plans. What are my options? 
To obtain Original Building Plans (Microfilm), the Microfilm Unit will perform initial research over the phone at 786-315-2340 to determine if your property is located in unincorporated Miami-Dade County and to verify the year the property was built in order to determine if we may have records to research on file.
