Office of Management and Budget seeks Letters of Interests from Community Based-Organizations (CBO) and Health-Based Organizations (HBO) with experience in developing or implementing culturally appropriate health literacy programs designed to demonstrate the effectiveness of local government implementation of evidence-based health literacy strategies that are culturally appropriate to enhance COVID-19 testing, contact tracing and/or other mitigation measures (e.g., public health prevention practices and vaccination) in racial and ethnic minority populations and other socially vulnerable populations.

Request for Proposals period will open Feb. 9 at noon. Eligible organizations must submit a Request for Proposal by 4 p.m. on March 8.

About Us
The Grants Coordination Division is responsible for the administration and monitoring of Community-Based Organization (CBO) contracts including the Mom and Pop Business Grants Program; provides training and technical assistance to CBOs; and identifies grant funding opportunities to maximize revenue support to County departments and community organizations.
Additionally, the Division manages and administers grants under the federal Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment Extension Act of 2009; administers the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistant Grant (JAG); identifies and promotes grant and revenue generating opportunities for County initiatives; and provides direct support to the CBO Advisory Board.
