Home Beautification

• Home must be located in County Commission District 1
• Applicant must be the homeowner and occupant of a single-family home
  • Apartments, condos and duplexes are not eligible
• You must not own other investment properties
• Current property taxes must be paid and no prior assessments due
• You must select a Miami-Dade County-licensed contractor
• You must meet income guidelines found on the application

Residents living in District 1 are eligible for a grant with no payments, loans or liens required or held against them while receiving services.

In addition to the completed application, the following documents are required:

• A copy of the last completed tax return and W-2, if employed.
• One full month of paycheck stubs for all employed individuals living in the household, if employed.
• If not employed and you receive a retirement pension or social security benefits, you must submit a copy of the awarded letters.
• Photo identification for all household members.
• Copy of social security cards and birth certificates for all household members.
• Most recent mortgage statement.
• Electric bill and water bill.
• Copy of warranty deed.
