Bronwyn Stanford - Director

Bronwyn Stanford came to the County following a long career in government and nonprofit administration and child and family welfare, including strategic planning, budget management, relationship management, and policy development. She served most recently as Senior Vice President at Children’s Home Society (CHS), overseeing CHS’ evidence-based community solutions and partnerships across the southern region – from Miami-Dade across Palm Beach County and throughout the entire Suncoast.

She is also the Founder and CEO of CJPAWS Inc. (Compassion, Justice, and Protection for the Animals We Save), an animal rescue organization with the mission of rescuing abandoned, abused, and neglected animals, and animals who have been displaced due to their owner’s illness or other incapacity.

Prior to her role at CHS, Bronwyn held several high-profile positions at the Department of Children and Families, Carlton Fields Law Firm, P.A., Stetson College of Law, and the Pinellas County State Attorney’s Office.

She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts Degree in Education from Western Michigan University and a J.D. from Stetson College of Law.
