Welcome to the new version of Miami-Dade County's website. We'd love your feedback. While we're at work, you may be directed to miamidade.gov, which is still your primary source for information.

Three Ways to Vote

Registered voters have three convenient ways to vote: voting by mail, voting early and voting on Election Day.

No voters will be turned away from the polls for any reason. A voter who is properly registered and eligible to vote at his/her precinct may vote with a provisional ballot if eligibility cannot be determined.

While election laws require individuals who are campaigning to remain 100 feet away from polling place entrances, voters wearing campaign attire may enter the polling place to vote. These voters are asked to refrain from speaking about candidates or issues while inside of the polling place if they are wearing clothes depicting issues or candidates.

  • Vote by Mail

Request a ballot in advance and vote from the comfort of your own home. Vote-by-mail ballots are also available for military and overseas registered voters. Read more to learn how you can vote by mail.

  • Vote Early

Voting early allows you to vote before the actual day of the election. Read more to learn when and where to vote early.

  • Vote on Election Day

If you choose to vote on Election Day, you must go to your assigned voting location.

Precincts are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. Check out the Voter Toolkit to know what information you need to bring with you to vote.
