Miami-Dade County Commissioner Esteban “Steve” Bovo, in collaboration with City of Hialeah Councilwoman Katharine Cue-Fuentes and Uber Eats, will be offering free food to medical officials, healthcare workers, and first responders at Hialeah Hospital. Uber Eats is providing a $25 voucher for those helping combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Commissioner Esteban “Steve” Bovo and former Florida State Senator Rene Garcia to open COVID-19 testing site at Amelia Earhart Park in Hialeah
On Thursday, April 2, 2020, Amelia Earhart Park in the City of Hialeah will become a COVID-19 drive-through testing center in Northwest Dade for residents aged 65 or older who are experiencing symptoms of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Testing will be done Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special thanks to Testing Matters for test kits, Prime Care, Solis for medical personnel, and Albert Diaz of RingLogix.
Applications are no longer available for 2020.
Completed applications will be through April 24 by 4 p.m. to the District Office, 1490 West 68th Street, Suite 101. No late applications will be accepted.
